Ok so here's the scoop....today is my 24th birthday.  No I don't draw art for myself on the birthdays....rather I make them as kikass as possible.


SO far this is my birthday of epicness lined up for today.  Bold for Checked off items!



1.  Watch the ENTIRE Goku vs Frieza fight on youtube (there's a 4 hour 15 min video of it...well edited) - CHECK!  Did it!  (I love DBZ come on )


2.  Watch Twister or Airplane IF I can.  This one will be hard cause I need to make sure I cram it in the morning.  If not hey, I watched the movie on TNT last Wednesday anyway.  


3. Hang with the family...well DUH!  


4.  Watch MLP and stream.....you bet your sweet @$$ I will be working on pony and watching MLP on my stream.


5.  Get one Bob Ross episode in - CHECK!  This one [link]  


6.  REPLY TO EVERY FREAKING PERSON THAT SAYS HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME OR GIVES A GIFT FOR ME ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, AND DA.  This I will do....and am doing it if you noticed.  


7.  Try and paper sketch my comic I will be working on this week and during Pon3con.  Tall order.


8.  Drink 3 cans of Coca-Cola.  Those who know me....I LOVE SODA!  I still love the soda pics of my OC outlaw did for me.  Those are freaking hilarious.  



That's about it....I think I can get through 90% of this.  The hardest thing is the movie.  THe DBZ thing I did between 10pm-2am....so the last 2 hours was on my birthday technically.      Anyway I have comments to reply to....Toxic AWAY!!!!

Ok so as you may know my next con this year will be Pon3con in Omaha, Nebraska next weekend.  Got a selection of good things on sale, bronies.    I had to do that.  Anyway, I will be streaming at night during that con....unlike Unicon and Big Apple Pony Con I think the hotel internet is free and won't fail me.  I was told the internet was free at least.  


NEXT UP!  My birthday is this Sunday.  I know some of you have offered to make gifts for me and such and honestly I do appreciate that but you don't have to do that you know.  Seriously, the fact you guys are continuing to follow and support my work is more than enough for me.  UGH 24....why do I feel old now.  


LASTLY, I'm going to do a challenge for any convention I go to.  I have showed off my skills in Mario Kart 64....and my challenge is this.  If you can beat me in a GP FULL 4 races in Mario Kart 64, I will give you one 2 of any choice of my 35 buttons for free.  IDK.....maybe I'll make it prints....depends how cocky I feel.    Be warned....I'm VERY good.  


Anyway I'm chilling at my brother's graduation hotel tonight.  Wild next 8 days ahead with more DBZ ponies and comics.  

Ok I SHOULD have done an update journal 2 weeks ago but I got really lazy.  


Anyway lets get to business.  Convention season is upcoming and needless to say I have a LOT of conventions I'm shooting for.  Just to say it for now...my next convention will be Pon3con in Omaha.  It's on the same weekend as EQLA but I decided to do this con due to it being more cost effective.    Remember this is a business I have to think about.  Also traveling from NY to CA is just stupidly expensive for me.  


Now....to the art.  Ok stuff is gonna get a little strangely scheduled over the next 5 days.  What I'm doing is trying to get back into my convention schedule.  What I do is try and get ahead on art...so during the 4-5 days I can't work on stuff during cons I'll at least have something to release for you guys.    So during the next...oh...I would say till the 25th...stuff may be a little slow...but behind the scenes and streams will be active as hell.  I have something AWESOME planned for the 25th and so I am trying to get ahead before that date.  Some art pieces ARE DONE but now I'm timing the releases.  


So yeah stuff is gonna get a little wild.  As for comics....I have enough comics at this point to last until early-mid June.  But thrown in to break them up will be more Wereluna and DBZ ponies.  VERY VERY close to being done with DBZ Pinkie which will wrap up the main 6.  After than I want to do Trixie first...I want to get her out of the way cause I KNOW which DBZ type attack I will give her.  *COUGH "Frieza".

SO yeah Big Apple Pony Con was pretty good.  My legs are killing me and I am pounding down the advil on my knees.    Used to run Cross Country in high School but when I stopped in college somehow my knee muscles got messed up so if I stand all weekend like I do at the vendor table my knees take a beating.  XD  Screw the chairs I say....don't give me one cause I NEVER use it...nor do I want one.  


Anyway my next con is Pon3con.....I will NOT be doing EQLA or ANY West coast cons the entire year.  Basically the cost is too high and the risk is too high for the amount of money I have to chip in.  Also competition is a factor....gotta think like a business man.    So yeah Pon3con is on the same weekend in May as EQLA in Omaha.  If there's storm during that con I will be storm chasing and I did study weather for 4 years in college.  ;D


Ummm yeah so I got a month to work on comics, Wereluna, and DBZ ponies...only have 2 left to do...then taking a break on those and ONLY focusng on comics with a touch of Wereluna.    I think I'll release a comic on Tuesday....how does that sound?  

Ok so you may have noticed a SLIGHT lack of comics recently.  No I haven't run out of ideas.  I have enough comics to last to May at this time.  I actually was in a sense "stocking up" a queue of completed or NEAR completed comics.  


Reason?  Well this means I can post art or a comic during BAP without wrecking a steady next 3 months of releases.  I purposely do this a week before cons but I'm set SOOOO expect a string of comics coming.  I think you'll all like these.  


ALSO when I'm done with the first batch of DBZ/pony mane 6, I will be even more fully concentrated on comics.  Look at it like this:

ATM - Big Apple Pony Con - 70% comics, 25% DBZ ponies, 5% Wereluna


Between now and June- 90% comics, 9% Wereluna, 1% DBZ ponies

No idea on a title on this.  So....that's what just came to my head.  


Anyway it's March and on top of a hell of a lot more comics the next few months and DBZ ponies...the series I appears to be making....I have one more thing to add to this list.  Wereluna!  For those who don't know what Wereluna is...basically she is in my gallery and is my Werewolf Luna if you will.  I LOVE drawing her...and she is widly popular at conventions which is freaking cool.    What started out as a joke a year and a half ago at Halloween and repolishing her since last April, Wereluna is a kickass thing for me to draw so add her from March-October.

ANYWAY back to normal stuff....comics...yes I have a lot coming.  Shhhhhh.  NOW more serious note....MLP conventions.


This I need to address.  I just had a very important family meeting about MLP cons this year and myself and the rest of my extended family talked it over.   Big Apple Pony Con will decide my future on MLP cons this year.


To put it simply.......if I don't make the kind of money I'm hoping to make at this con I will unfortunately need to cancel ALL MLP cons this year except Bronycon and force myself to move to general conventions.  Bring 0 new stock to this con.  Unicon cost me $500+ and my confidence in MLP cons is shaken to it's core.  Me and the family talked it over and they see me doing better at general conventions like Animate Miami where I did VERY well vendoring my products.  Despite it being a general con with 4 MLP VAs....out of the 5k that attended...1500 were bronies.  THAT is incredible.  So they said "if these general cons have 15k why not go to those instead of wasting your time over a 500-2k person MLP con and cons that seem to me on shaky ground in this brony fandom".


Basically me and my family looking at this like a business aspect BAP will decide how I do MLP cons this year.  IF I don't sell well  there...as I have done in other MLP cons I will be forced to cancel and move in a different direction.  It's a matter of competition as my family likes to put it.  THey did make a great point...at Animate Miami I was one of 3 MLP vendors there.  We weren't competiting against 30-100 other MLP artists selling the same stuff.    


Again it's rough to make it like this, but it's the way it is.  I don't want to beg people to buy my stuff at BAP to save me MLP season.  See it's nice to have people say they like my work and say they like my comics but pass up buying something......it's another for people to buy my stuff and say that too.   I pray people will come to my booth at BAP.  I want to do more MLP cons this year and see people but again conventions for me this year.....it comes down to BAP.  I just hope people enjoy the stuff I am bringing there.  I have so many things.


So if I need to cancel cons...which I HOPE doesn't happen....I will still make MLP as usual.  Just seeing me at cons will be moved from MLP to general ones.    This...is gonna have me worried the next to weeks....future of my con season down to one con.  YIKES.  

Ok this is probably the last thing I want to say about cons for a little bit.  I want to move on from Unicon but it's not easy seeing a huge loss in your bank account.  I had fun seeing a lot of friends there but that money thing is glaring.  It's a considerable amount (*COUGH* more than $300+).  Anyway because of this I have to make an announcement that for me...all first year conventions will unfortunately have to be off my list, except Big Apple Pony Con and Fiesta Equestria.  Those 2 cons I trust and I know will be fine.  


Why am I doing this?  Well it's not like I don't trust first year cons but it's a matter of me not wanting to get burned like I did.  Once is enough and I'm more scared than anything.  Oh and this was a family decision as well that was made last night when I arrive home and told them the situation I was in.    So...unfortunately I will have to back out from those.  It sucks but again I'm not prepared for another possible money loss.  


So what is my next con?  Well I'm still gonna do Big Apple Pony Con in NYC.  It's drivable and it APPEARS stable for a first year con.  Mainly at this point why I'm still doing the con is cause I will not be spending over $500 to do the con.  Includes, vendor table, Hotel, and travel.  I didn't sell much at Unicon so I have a significant overstock....as in I don't have to make anything.  Whatever I had for Unicon I am bringing nothing more.  After BAP it's all 2 year cons and anime cons for a while until Fiesta Equestria.  I'm PUMPED for that con....it's gonna be kick ass.  


Anyway I'm giving you guys the heads up on this moving forward.  I have tacked on a few anime cons at the end of the year to make up for the MLP cons I had planned to attend after BronyCon.  


Now....time to get back on track.  I need to get my mind out of this gutter and get back to comics and pony but man it's hard after being emotionally drained and stressed like hell last 5 days.  I just need to draw.  XD

OK.....so basically I, like many others in the vendor hall had a rough time at Unicon.  Con goers and VA had a great time but in the dealer room is was a DISASTER.  A Significant amount of the vendors or artist are either in the red or just BARELY broke even.  Very few people actually made a profit...let alone a decent one.  


We were told 2k were atttending but in reality the con had only 1200 people at most...and on Friday/Saturday the dealer rooms was very quiet.  Strangely enough there weren't as many VAs/writers chatting or that I saw in the vendor hall as in past cons.  I really only got to Lee Tockarand  Sam Vincent so I was VERY disappointed that I wasn't able to talk to other people.    Usually I see them chatting with people but it was not so much the case here.  


As for me....I'm very very miserable on the con.  On the one hand I got to hang with a lot of people....the bad side....I barely got to meet anyone on the staff, let alone talk to them, and I'm in the red for this con I believe.  This con is a considerable bust and it's scary to see I made more money selling at AnimateMiami...which is NOT a MLP con...than I made here.  


Is that a trend?  Do I need to do more anime theme cons and put my MLP stuff there to sell.  IDK....I know I have a lot of MLP cons I will go to for the rest of the year but I more than likely will be adding more anime/sci-fi cons to my list this year.  I just can not go through this hell I and others went through again.  I will need to know at least 3-6 months out what the gameplan for a con is going forward IF I will attend.  :I


So yeah I'm not happy ATM.  I will be taking the nxt 24-36 hour off to clear my mind before I work on anything MLP.  Just very very down on this whole thing.  It really sucked ass.    It was a fun con to see people I know....but anything else it was bull****

This is some new record on journals but this one I HAD to make now before I forget it.  I GET the finale.  Yes....I've figured out ALL the finale Questions people have been B(%(%ing about for days now.  I was confused like **** like other bronies how some of the stuff said or other stuff makes any sense but I get it now.  It makes sense now.  PREPARE FOR LOGIC!  Other probably have figured this out but hell I like to be smart anyway....or I'm just slow.  


#1 - The "New" Spell idea.


IDK if it was poor writing but I got it now.  FINALLY!  The first time Celestia said something about Star-Swirl not being able to create magic, I was all "WHAT?  Wait...that makes no sense cause twilight said he created 200 spells."   BUT I get it now....at the Corination, what Celestia says there that makes sense.  It wasn't about him not able to create magic....it was a test for Twilight.  It was a test for Twilight to see IF she could make her own magic.  Star Swirl made spells but OBVIOUSLY since he didn't know friendship he wasn't able to finish that one.  There's probably others not made too but this one was Celestia's test to see IF Twilight could do it and prove herself.  


#2 - Twilight is STILL Celestia's Student


Ok this was obvious but trying to tell people is getting hard for them to get.  Look guys, Twilight is STILL gonna be learning from Celestia.  For God's sake, Celestia said she's still her student BUT NOT IN THE SAME WAY!  What does this mean?  Well she's gonna still be studying magic cause there's obviously so much magic she has to learn.  I DOUBT she's mastered all of the 200 spell Star-Swirl has.  I think there's many more but they just haven't announced it.   Hell, you see the library the Crystal Empire has?  That's over 1000 years old...OLD BOOKS....OLD MAGIC.  LOGIC!    Twilight still likely has to learn some stuff in there....also she's gotta start from ground up on being a princess.  That's gonna take more than one season of training....it took us 65 episodes to get to this point.  So....chill out.  


#3 - She's not living in the Castle


Ok we can just leave that right there.  Tara said she's still in Ponyville.  NEXT!


#4 - How exactly did she become an Alicorn?


Well as you saw in the show....somehow there's a way to take part of your own magic and turn yourself into an Alicorn.  However, you obviously can't just do it on the whim....this is probably some type of magic sooooo advanced it's probably just Celestia and Celestia alone that knows how to do this.  


#5 - Have you noticed barely any of the world has been explored yet?


Ok this has nothing to do with this finale but I am thinking this up on the fly.  Anyone notice only Equestria has been talked about for the most part?  Something tells me there's other pony countries and place they have yet to even show us.  Oh the writers are gonna have a field day on that...plus I see a considerable amount of villians still coming to ponyville now.  Basically Ponyville is a new target for villians...especially since there's a "New" Princess there....a student princess.  This could be more awesome minor "villians" like the Flam bros.  I think we'll see more lie that cause clearly the rest of the mane 6 still have flaws.  


#6 - TWILIGHT IS NOT A RULER OF ANYTHING YET

Again she's still got to learn how to be a ruler.  Hence the studying that goes with that.  Hell, Cadence WAS a princess when Twilight was a filly.  Think about all the years she must have studied to be a ruler with Shining Armor on the Crystal Empire.  I GUESS she can rule ponyville for now.    "BOW BEFORE ME!  I have power over you mayor!  MWHAHAHAHAHA!  


#7 - When is Season 4?


Logic time!  Season 3 was finished during the Spring/Summer of 2012....it took till November to do all the post-production.  THAT was a 13 episode season.  So the wait was 6 months (April-October.  Season 4 is currently in production but is for 26 episodes.  That may be a little longer to produce and longer to post production.  I'm THINKING this wait will be around 7-9 months.  So...maybe November we will see Season 4.  McCarthy did say it will be QUITE A WHILE before S4 is released.

S3 review and "bridge seasons" (READ IT)

Ok where do I begin.  I'm not gonna make this crazy long about review season 3.  I'll be honest...I still rank season 2 so far as the best season.  Basically it has more of my favorite episodes.    Anyway back to the issue at hand.....I think I'm beginning to understand S3 more and more.  If ANYONE watched animes or cartoons with MULTIPLE seasons, ( *COUGH* DBZ for me cause I love it so much.   ) you will see a pattern that develops.


• Season 1 - Usually you lay the ground work of characters and introducing new stuff as the season goes on.
• Season 2 - It varies but usually is the season you build on character development  Usually the most in-depth season of a show.
• Season 3 - Now...this is hard to say.  I'll stick with MLP....I consider this season a "bridge season".
• Season 4+ - Tons of new stuff.  Basically it's like a new Season 1.


What do I mean by a "bridge season?"  Well in most shows you need a season that usually isn't as good as the other seasons.  It's main purpose isn't to be good...but it's suppose to be a transfer season to something MUCH bigger and better.  You have good stuff here and there but overall it's purpose is much bigger.  Season 3, basically was the bridge between Twilight becoming an Alicorn and royalty and the challenges that go with that. It's actually SAID IN THE DAMN EPISODE by Twilight that she has to in a sense "study" on what to do for becoming a princess.  So...she's still gonna be doing her studies but in a much more dramatic fashion.  There's still books you KNOW she hasn't read yet...so she'll still be a book worm....with wings.


So yeah S4 is like a brand new trilogy....it's basically Season 1 revamped.  That's how I see it.  


How to survive a MLP off-season

Ok so I joined in in May 2011 so this will be my 3rd MLP off-season coming up and this one albeit will be much longer than the last one.  Now there's a lot of new people that joined in the middle of the S2 off-season-present.  How do you survive a 6+ month wait for MLP?  It's not that hard.....I've done this for many many shows in my life and I've done it the last 8 years with Deadliest Catch on Discovery, probably my favorite show ever.  On average I wait 9 months for the show.


Step 1 - Acceptance.  


That's right...no ponies.  0...your Saturday's are now free for the next 6 months or so.  It's gonna feel weird...trust me, it did during the S1 off-season. Anyway, there's a lot of new shows you can catch up on.  Give the Littlest Pet Shop a shot.  I watch it....it's not that bad.  If not then try and use this time to chill with friends.  You now have the chance to catch up with people you may have ignore hanging out with on a Saturday.


Step 2 - DO SOMETHING/Go to cons


It's gonna get boring soon.  I think around April people are gonna get REALLY bored.  How can you curve this boredom?  Well if you want this is the perfect chance to either get into drawing or write a fan fic.  Gotta keep yourself busy....much harder to do with comics cause I need to think of a LOT of comics this season but it keeps me busy.  If you don't want to do either, come to a MLP con.  They are a lot of fun!  


Last Step - Look forward to the next season....basically keep it positive.


Tough to say that this moment since there's a lot of unknowns heading into S4....but as I said this is basically like Season 1 revamped we are heading into.  There's a ton stuff we have coming down the pipeline but actually that sense of mystery can be a good thing.  It's something to look forward to.  Alicorn Twilight, just seeing her with wings is still gonna be weird to get used to.....and I've prepared for this even during 2.....it's just seeing it different.  I need a few more months.    Anyway......this basically is like a new season 1 were are moving into, sometimes the unknown makes the anticipation better.


Ok...so....there.  I'm done writing.  If you'll excuse me I have comics to attend to and other stuff.  

This isn't a bad thing.....more of a holy crap this is a lot for me that I want to do thing.    My goal is to get 2 comics done as well as 2 DBZ MLP pics.  That a tall order cause that's quite a bit of things t get in just under 2 weeks now before unicon.  I still have over 900 more buttons i need to make and this is gonna be insane.  D:


I will attempt a DBZ Alicorn Twilight pic I've decided.  I want to get that done sooooooooo badly.  Some of you know what the IDEA on it is but I actually JUST finished the sketch on it.  Now I got to make it shine and print/convention worthy.    Thing that's doable.


Ah....nuts and I need to do more welovefine stuff.  I keep forgetting to add that ATM with all the stuff I'm trying to do.    Anyway 2 more episodes left...man this season flew by but the offseason.....it's gonna be a long offseason.  The longest one yet and this will test the fandom to it's limits.  But I'll worry about that in 2 weeks.

Now here's the main journal topic.  Hope you hear me out on this cause I think it's time someone with a stronger voice in the fandom spoke on this.  It's long so if you want to read it not here....go to this [link].


Ok…now comes a topic I really have been dying to speak up about.  This is becoming an annoyance not just with me but many people in the fandom.  Bear with me on this cause it's a LOT of stuff.  It may seem it's just about me whining or complaining but this will try and be as critical but respectable as possible.  I've been noticing a lot of problem with the Equestria Daily site lately it frankly it's really pissed me off and now I hit the breaking point….again.


Here's the main issue…people have to understand EQD is one man's site.  It's Sethisto's site....a blog if you will and it's always been like that.  It's not an independent news site which the fandom DESPERATELY needs and one free from controversy on being bias to certain musicians/artists/writers.  EQD is not built like one….and whatever he WANTS to put on, goes up and that has angered a significant amount of people in the fandom.  Weird huh.  I've seen many inconsistent things with the site and it's just really getting weird.  Random stuff like what goes into posts, the news that is posted, convention news that gets delayed for days, etc.  Just a bunch of stuff that has irked me.   Lately I've sent in all my comics but only ONE in my last 8 comics has been featured.  Why?  Well I don't know why.  They don't tell anyone anymore if their stuff will go up or not.  Not even a simple "to the queue" anymore.  It's frustrating beyond belief and I know my comics aren't for the target demographic of the fandom.  They are more general but do they care…..actually no which is surprising to me because I know many other artists that are like me.


Anyway moving away from me, there's another problem I'm seeing and that is musicians and their share of the spotlight.  I'm in very good standing with plenty of the musicians and I feel their annoyance when they don't get feedback from stuff they send in.  It all gets mashed into the music of the day post sometimes.  Remember how that was supposed to be an everyday thing?  Well I clearly haven't seen that live up to the hype or standard of putting the music from THAT day out.  I've seen so much duplicate music in there it's really frustrating for a new musician who may have got a new song good enough to make it into that only to get push aside by a song featured in a previous one.


A third thing what I think if more frustrating are the Drawfriends and god knows how they can be.  Some things are getting in there 2 and 3 times.  That's just maddening to see that.  Sure it's comical to a point but if this is supposed to be the #1 site in the fandom shouldn't there be like a filter or something on that?  That's just giving more exposure to a piece that has already gotten in.  I remember on a few comic posts I've seen that which is actually more embarrassing than comical.  I really miss how the Drawfriends usually would be at night rather during the middle of the day.  You could get an idea for how much art was done on that one entire day and it was just a cool thing to see how much art was done and it was usually at a fixed time.  Now it's all over the place on when it's featured.


Fourth, I just want to tackle this one.  The issue of contests and standards.  It's no secret EQD has raised their standards since August and that REALLY hurt the middle person in the fandom and actually it's affected me as well.  They aren't posting my stuff and others anymore because of their new standard of trying to showcase the top 15% of the fandom.  Trust me I know this.  How in the hell is the middleman artist/musician suppose to get noticed if he/she can't make it past that insanely high standard.  I remember when EQD took roughly the top 40% of the fandom's work.  It was still high but it wasn't impossible for the average artist to say "hey I got featured, thanks!".  Now you RARELY see that…the standards are so high that it's killing what made the site great in the first place.   Remember how EQD used to do banner contests?  Remember how they did holiday contests?  Remember how they used to make music posts feature people by Vocal, remix, etc?  Now it's all thrown into the music of the day post which is insanely lazy to me.  I know the site is more "business like" now but that's just not true at all because it's STILL A BLOG and whatever one guy says goes.  That's not a business like site….it's borderline dictatorship if you have that much power on what is suppose to be a FAN BASED site.


Oh, I didn't touch on the fanfic writers and I apologize for that.  You guys do have fan fiction but I do respect fanfics getting a chance to get on EQD.  Share the wealth.  Again I want to see an independent site open up and Everfree Network will be launching one up like that where it will allow many more people to get a chance to show off what they got to offer up.  It will still have standards but not the "top 15%" or something standards EQD appears to have set now.  


Lastly, I did pitch many new ideas to the Equestria Daily staff to make stuff fairer for everyone and one was to give comic artist/musicians the chance to get featured in a unique way.  Group the "popular people" stuff into separate feature posts and assign them to specific days of the week.  The rest you can designate for the middle of the road or less well known people for other days of the week.  It's a win-win for everyone…..but they denied it which I was actually not surprised.  I also told them to hire more staff if they were concerned about so much new content coming into the site and they didn't want to do that.  


Anyway let me know what you think.  Sorry if this was so long.  Call me a jerk if you want or you can agree with what I said but again I just wanted to share what many people are feeling like in the fandom to this issue.  IDK why people haven't been speaking out if they were afraid or the backlash that comes with it but I'm not afraid to speak what's on my mind.  People who know me know how vocal I can be so I'll be curious to read and see if other people will share their opinions more.  For the middle of the road artists to get a chance to get more exposure and anytime you can help out the smaller people in the fandom I'm for it.  Let EQD know how you feel....it's the only way they MAY change.

Alright now before I get started.  This Alicorn Twilight stuff, while I knew it was inevitable and I like the idea of it.  The only flaw I have is the timing....I thought this was gonna be used for the FINAL episode ever.  So...this is interesting.    Can they make this work without making Twilight seem like a God in front of her friends?  We'll see.


Anyway back on topic.  Come Wednesday or Thursday I will be releasing a lot of stuff.  If it looks like I slowed down the last week well you'll see why.  I have a special commission I'm working on for a convention.    You'll see what it is.  ALSO I have another comic ready to go....a DBZ Dash that I'm 60% done with, 2 comics ready to be sketched and more filly stuff.  Did you get all that?  


So you'll see....oh and did I mention more t-shirts I have to announce?!  Yeah, I thought you'd be interested.

HOLY CRAP WAS THAT CONVENTION KICK ASS.  Ok....so maybe I broke even for the con...and maybe I didn't sell any of my HUGE prints.....still it was overall awesome.  I got invited to be at SuperCon later in July....so I will be going there.    Gonna be interesting mixing that in with Fiesta Equestria the week before....which I am also going to.    Link, SAVE ME!  


XP Anyway I met a LOT of cool people there.  Shocked to see Everfree Radio there as well as other people I NEVER expected would be there.  Hotdiggity I will say is very cool...he's very cool when you chat with him.  He's literally the Steven Colbert of MLP......he has the show personality on stage and then he's very normal off stage.  


Yes....I did get to meet Libman and Creber.  It was funny, Creber and I were making paper airplanes near the end of the convention......her design was so simple but MUCH better than mine....which I needed heavier paper to make the plane work right.   The bigger the plane the better mine would have done.  D:  So yeah that was cool.  


Now, Unicon is my next con and I don't have much to re-stocking to do.   Just a LOT of buttons.   I have 0 buttons now of anything.....well...nearly 0.  WELL....time to get back into comics.  I have several comics I want to do before Unicon and another DBZ MLP picture.


ONWARD!!!!

Make this quick.  I'm still in Animate Miami....and I REALLY hate to say this but......this con....is better than ANY MLP cons I've been to before.  IDK if it's just the fun factor or the vendoring fun I'm having but they really know how to run a con.    I beat a few people in Smash Bros Brawl last 2 nights when they closed the exhibition hall.  PRIDE +1!


Also I got to meet and see a LOT of awesome things.  Cosplays here.....lol wow are they good.  I'm not much into cosplay stuff but man the quality on some of these is insane.  Anyway...I'm sketching a new comic down here.  It's hard to work when you have so little time and you vendor till 7pm-9pm each night.  My legs are HURTING from standing so much.  I actually think I sprained something or at least have major cramping in my calfs.  It REALLY REALLY hurts.  D:


Anyway that's all for now.  Saw Equestria Daily once again denied another comic of mine.....lovely.  :I  What is that.....6 out of my last 8.  Yeah that's not BS....well I'll make a journal about that and other issues I'm seeing about that when I get back.  I'm gonna enjoy myself...coming back Monday....I WILL STREAM A DBZ DASH!  Yeah.....enjoy.  

Ok guys.  Many of you know I will be one of 3 MLP vendors heading to AnimateMiami from Thursday-Monday.  Now...during this time I will not be online from 10am-7pm on Friday-Sunday.  Monday when I come back I will be streaming normal times.  


Now that said I will be HIGHLY active at night.   I don't know many people going to AnimateMiami so I can't say I'll be hanging out too much.  I will DEFINITELY be releasing something Thursday afternoon once I'm in my hotel and I SHOULD still have normal streaming nights the entire time.  Think about it as me being active but just at night for 3 days.  


Anyway....this is the first of 12 cons I want to attend this year.  At this moment I am thinking about swapping out some MLP cons in favor of some more MLP cons.  If that is where the VAs are heading it seems and more people are going to those cons then I may be adding cons like Otakon and others to my list of conventions to vendor at.  D:


Anyway....I'll be on for the better part of the night.  BTW....I got some people asking "Tox haven't seen your stuff on EQD or other place lately"....and to that I say....go ask them about it.  Trust me....I don't want to get into that....yet.

Ok....as you may have noticed....seems like many this December have slowed down...I did too.  Seems like every December I slow down and take the month to relax after a year of working on comics.  


Basically took the 24th-now to take it easy and refresh....HOWEVER....as I said 2 weeks ago....when the New year begins and the holiday season is over...holy %^*[  prepare for a huge art explosion.  I'm not kidding when I'm saying I have several pictures I have yet to release....and comics.  Oh God....comics...yeah I have a HUGE amount of those on the way.    I'm also testing a DBZ Style/MLP....you'll see what I mean in 3 days.  I doubt it will be much more than just the pic I did it for, but it looks good.  


Anyway......bear with me the next couple days....working on comics and all that good jazz but I will begin releasing stuff again then when the new year begins.  Yes....starting on Jan 1st.  Why...IDK...just cause I guess.  There will be a lot of good comics and stuff this new year....comics comics comics.  




OH AND SIDE NOTE....Yes I am going to Animate Miami Jan 17th-20th.  

Ok...I'm typing this on my cousin's Iphone 5.  Still will not be on DA fully until VERY VERY LATE Christmas Day.  I made a promised myself to take a break for about 36 hours to rest and relax and party like a damn wild man.  


So yeah Mery Christmas guys.  Streaming and comica and all that good jazz will come back LATE Christmas Day......anyway....back to the party.

Ok....so I was looking back at what I have done since S3 began and I have a notebook FULL of comics I write down.  Just ideas or just basically dialogue.  ANYWAY, I just can't tell you how many filly comics I have lined up after S3.  It's AT LEAST enough for 2-3 months worth of comics.    Quite ridiculous.  Fillies are my thing so like 100% of those are filly comics.  Bring your filly ponies to me!    Also IDK why I draw fillies so much.....they are a lot of fun I guess and more innocent.


But what I am calculating is just insane......




RIGHT NOW....I have 4 comics completely linearted or colored and ready for BGs (backgrounds...that's how I like abbreviating it...sue me)  .  These are comics I sketch before the next episode but have to put them off due to a new MLP episode comic I must do.  AT THIS PACE...I'm gonna have 11 comics left over when S3 is done on TOP of the 10 I have saved in my notebook.  That's like 19+ comics.  WTF IS THIS MADNESS!  


That means...there's gonna be a window...likely from February-April/May where it's just gonna be a LOT of comics flying out.  Except the times I have conventions (Animate Miami, Unicon, and Cloudcon) that's where I shut it down for the following 4 days on everything.




Stupidly enough...I have really odd single pics I sketched.....some Wereluna, Bab seed thing, and a insane mane 6 swag thing.  Mainly new prints/shirts for cons if anything else.




What was the point of this journal...well just bear with me till the end of season 3.  Cause when the season is over...holy crap it's gonna get a little nuts.  And yes...shut up about snow comics or Christmas stuff....I have snow stuff but maybe not the Christmas stuff like last year.  I do snow stuff more in January...being a weather guy...snow happens more in January in NY.  Ex) I have a snow Trixie comic...filly no less XD that I'll probaly sketch on Thurday-Friday and then have to put it off like the others XD.  UGH!  See what I mean....I can't work on it till after the season.


Anyway rambling done.  I need more soda.  SODA RUN!  T-M out!
