Try one Twilight

(May wanna read if you don't get the Lion King reference here) XD


Well it's finally done. I let you guys vote on the final MLP/Lion King pic that I should do and you wanted a happy/funny/stupid scene. Obviously trying to recreate the entire Hakuna Matata scene would have been dreadful but ponies eating bugs? Nah, I chose cupcakes with a slight twist. Fake worms or "pony worms" as I put it on the little bag next to Rainbow Dash. But Twilight doesn't know that.


Now other stuff about the pic. Well I got suggestions for who should be Timon and which is Pumbaa. I went with Pinkie as Timon and Rainbow as Pumbaa BUT it could just as easily be the other way around.....see why I don't wanna do more of these. It's gonna get really weird trying to figure out who is who on other scenes. Like I said you guys wanted me to do this scene really badly so I tried a stab at it. It got frustrating at parts like some of the background and Pinkie Pie since that's the first time I've tried her normal hair. NOW I can't say I've drawn all the canon MLP characters...in the right way.


Well guys I'll keep this description short. I think the pic will speak for itself. Finally have a pic where I can back into the more filled in backgrounds...and not simple ones like the last free pics. Just gotta get into that groove again is all. For now though this will end my Lion King/MLP pics. Time to work on other MLP stuff. Stuff like....well...other stuff. Not giving away much. So what you think? Like it?
