"Darling, Forever is a long long time and time has a way of changing things!" - Big Mama (Fox and the Hound)

Ok if you remember watching FOx and the Hound I think you'll remember this little quote. It's where Todd asks Big Mama if Copper and him will still be friends forever. She tells Todd this really good quote frm the movie. Honestly it's scary how powerful and true this quote is.

For example....

I had a very good friend through middle school and high school and I thought we are likely gonna be really good friends for a long time.

However after high school we started drifting apart...he went on to do his own stuff and I went to my own college. Over the past several years time has taken it's toll and we rarely seem to talk anymore. It not like we fought and stuff but time just changed things. I have new batch of friends and tt's a shame because he was one of the guys I relied upon a lot in high school. We had a lot of fun......but now those days seem so long ago. It's really sad the more you think about it.

One other example is from my cross country and track days in high school. We were a very tight group and I thought we'd be friends for a long time as well.

However it seems like out of everyone on those teams it seems like I talk to just one of them the most. He one of my best friends but still.....just one.....even now? What happened?

Anyway hought I'd create this stamp because of how powerful that quote was. You just don't pick up quotes like this in movies when you're young.

You gotta rewatch them....you'll be surprised at how much meaning so of these quote have.

I used to have a good friend whom I met in second grade. For a few years, we were like bffs. We slept over at each other's house, had playdates, and all that. But, after fifth grade, she started going to a private school. We did still see each other over the summer since we went to the same summer camp, and at first it was as if not much had changed. However, we drifted further apart. Now I never see her anymore. We are no longer friends, but I met a new friend this year. It's the first time since my old friend and I broke up that I feel like I have a real friend, but unfortunately I won't be able to see this friend after this year since I'll be going away to college(my new friend is a freshman in highschool while I'm a senior). Hopefully I'll make more friends once I've settled into college.

Yeah time really can do this. Honestly though the saying is true....you will have a group of friends you will keep in contact in high school...but you're real friends are gonna be in college or in a university.....
