Twilight....I hate drawing your library. I can't tell you guys how annoying it is to do the library settings for comic. Those...books....UGH those books...so many books. I was seeing books in my dreams last night. Each book completely different...seperately drawn. Someone hit me with a frying pan. This comic officially holds the record on a background....14 1/2 hours. Those books once agan were the huge reason.
So yeah it's been a while since I did a true Twilight comic but I wanted to try something different. I was trying to imagine Rainbow Dash officially having an autobiography book as mentioned in Mare Do Well. I'm gonna be hard on myself on this one.....this comic just doesn't feel right to me. I feel like I used 4 different styles of Twilight in this. IDK you may see it differently but that's what I see. I was experimenting a lot with stuff and for whatever reason it's just they way it came out. That final Twilight I worked on back to head....that came out nice.
Overall IDK....I like the comic but in my eyes it wasn't up to MY standards. It should have been better but I was nearly dead at the end of this one. Honestly the library is the hardest background to do. I have no idea why that is....oh wait....yes I do....the books! Great...thinking about them again. Off to the next comic...a non-book one. Coments on this? Critique?

Well, I've never done a critique before, but let's give it a shot since I have some advice to give you!
I really like that Twilight looks like she does in the show. In some of the panels, though, her face looks smooshed or ill proportioned to the rest of her body. The comic itself was very funny, so nice idea! I never would have thought that Dashie would ever try to write a book... but very nice job. I think you need to work on the head a little more, and keep up the good work with how the pony's mane and body look. Keep it up!
Twilights head shape seemed a bit lacking for her body. Her eyes were a bit off in color at the bottom and made it look like she was squinting a bit in the panels where her eyes were fully open. For the background. The work you did for the books to look individual is good and adds to the total piece itself. The stairs though were slightly off I think. The first two steps were the same but the following steps were odd, maybe it's the wrapping effect of the stairs going up I don't know. Overall very good work I think.
