Oh yeah this is epic....I'm submitting this at work. Oh find the muffin! Innuendos ahoy!!!
So yeah this is a little different than my usual themed comic but I got a good laugh out of this once I completed it. The Sugar Cube Corner Kitchen....that's tricky. That was not easy to make.
Anyway that's all. Comments always help!
Time spent: 18 hours over 3 days How I did it: Paper + Photoshop CS5
PLEASE don't steal this. Remember to link this back to me if you put this on a site or something.
The drawing is very good (even though i cant find the freaking muffin ) and the pose is perfect for the scenes. ( Derpy wingboner much? O.O)
The originality is kinda different this time. the Sex puns are a little bit original for comics now so i think you shouldnt do that too much.
The others are pretty perfect overall, but i think you should kinda work on the originality a little, k?
(P.S Seriously, put the muffins in some easier spots, it is starting to annoy me alot because i cant stop until i find it. ) Thank you for your time! ~Weirdduder10 :3
Unless I'm missing out on something the entire joke here seems to be that Pinkie misinterpreted "Ready to do it?" for an implication for sex.
That's it.
That's the joke.
There's no punchline whatsoever, merely a vague resolve to a misunderstand. It's crude and childish.
Anyway the art itself isn't bad. Considering you aim to recreate the show you're technique is pretty spot on.
The background looks great but it would nice if you sharpen the points of the lines on the characters, it makes a world of difference. Also the detail lines on Pinkie's hair is just a little bit off.
It looks pretty good but the problem when you're trying to recreate something is that it will never look as good as the original.
