Fight for Survival

This was freaking awesome. I had this idea clearly in my head from the start of my last pic. Think that's why I like it so much. The original plan was to have MLP Axel and MLP Roxas just squaring off but then I thought....wait...this needs more. There needs to be someone watching this. So I decided to add the Cutie Mark Crusaders in the background. Think of it however you want....did they meet Roxas and Axel just showed up and now Roxas needs to protect them? Did they just happen to stumble upon the two of them? Your call.


So the trickiest part of this pic was not really the poses but actually Axel's weapon. I could have made it true to form and had him have 2 blades but when you think about it...how the heck would he hold that? One is the only logical choice. Roxas, I had choices with his keyblade....but trying to draw the Oathkeeper or Oblivion was just waaaaaayyy too hard. Honestly I can see why you don't see it drawn much. So the regular keyblade works and I've seen pics with him having it.


I see a flaw or two with this pic but I just really wanted to improve.....well try out a different night background scene. It's a little similar with the far mountain background but I changed everything else completely for this pic. You like? The next one will be a day time scene for sure but what exactly....I don't know. Usually I think of the background right as I start the linearts. Weird process.


But anyway I think you can tell I was ready for another Kingdom Hearts MLP crossover pic again. They really are unique and fun to do. Right now I'm the only artist out there that is ponifying all these characters like Spyro through this one.....and putting backgrounds in them. Oh and good quality to boot. I may continue this crossover with Kingdom Hearts characters for another pic or 2. If you have an idea to give me...just leave me a comment. I'll see if I can ponify it. I love hearing opinions of my viewers....so what do you think? Now....onto the next one!
