Ok this title was genius. One of the few titles I had to rely on someone to think of but man this just a perfect title. Silly Rose....or Lily...whoever are you?!
I....have no clue where the idea of this comic started. It was 3am at night....had a soda, listened to music, and this comic appeared on paper. Actually was a fun comic to do. Had Derpy in this cause I haven't drawn here in a while. Never did a pony stand before...was fun to make as well as this background.
So yeah I'll leave it at that. Quality of the ponies to me is a TAD less than normal....never sketch at 3am. Muffin is again hidden (VERY tiny). Comments always help guys. WOOT!
Time spent: 20 hours over 4 days How I did it: Paper + Photoshop CS5
PLEASE don't steal this. Remember to link this back to me if you put this on a site or something.
Haven't I already told you I enjoy this really much? Well, I have! It's always harder to find great authors, and I think your one of these bright creators! Even being hilarious through comic strips is a rare skill! I use to love the old comics as Asterix, and others. Sometimes I search some new comics (especially about ponies), but I usually got disappointed. Instead, you've got impressive ideas. You're quite original! You use to respect the behavior of the characters! That's another quality! I always try to keep the real character while I write a fan-made... Besides, I bet making all these comics is quite tiring: it has taken hours, hours,...DAYS!?! To finish the comic strip! You've worked so hard! And you, at last, ended your comic successfully! Isn't it so? Your style is quite impressive!
Vision: The idea that a pony would be at pains to hide her true talent merely to live up to her name is is a novel take on the cutie mark mythology. Granted, you'd assume the pony with the fake cutie mark would be a blank-flank trying to be something she's not but hiding the 'wrong' one works too.
Originality; Having the concept be revealed as the result of somepony merely trying to ask a question that bothers her is pretty funny.
Technique: As with your other work, this looks like something that would appear in some sort of licensed work about the programme.
Impact: We have a mildly annoyed pony learning something weird about somepony with a mildly embarrassing secret. In short: comedy gold.
OH MY FUCKING CELESTIA!!!!! IT TOOK ME A BLOODY HOUR TO FIND THAT LUNA FORSAKEN MUFFIN. MAY CELESTIA TAKE THAT MUFFIN AND LOCK IT IN A DUNGEON AND SEND IT TO THE MOON, THEN LOCK THE MOON IN A DUNGEON AND SEND IT TO A FAR OFF MOON, THEN LOCK THE MOON'S DUNGEON IN A DUNGEON AND THEN THE NEW MOON IN A BIGGER DUNGEON AND BURN THEM ALL TO HELL!!!!!!
