A Heart of Gold

Oh snap....it's more Derpy comics.  I seem to make AJ/Derpy comics the most I think out of all the series...even the Derpy/Spitfire ones.  IDK why but it happens.    Know what I find most fun about making the Derpy comics in the off-season? Just the shear amount of freedom and stuff I get to have whenever I do one.  So like this one....obviously this is my first time making teenage AJ....but what I did was combine it with the Buckball episode and boom...have it be a Derpy comic.  Muffin is obvious in this one.....if you know where to look. 


So I know I am gonna get some stupid comments like "wait Tox I thought only AJ and her family only knows of the sport".....uhhh no.  It's said it's an Apple Family favorite and it makes no mention that not everyone in ponyville would know of the sport.  In a sense I rather have it be Derpy being the best pony that she is to be that crazy fan than knows the sport and is a fan of it.  Derpy is shown to be totally decked out in sports gear in that episode so it make sense she is a fan but for how long?  Well that is where I come in to fill in the back story.    The train station I will say is a pain in the ass to make and the train too.  Making all these poses and backgrounds on this one did take a while considering I don't know what is off to the sides of the train station all too well and the EPs vary on the train stations cause there seem to be multiple ones pending on the episode.  It's weird.  Still...not too bad I must say with this.  I hate making train cars though. 


Anyway another comic in the books for the off-season.  I will say I did have a bit of a challenge with the teenage AJ cause she's so skinny in the show and I tried to go with that one but.....I kind of turned it into a hybrid with my style.    It's weird to me putting that big pony head on the skinny little legs.    I am not used to making legs that thin from the show so again...my version with some flair.    Ok....anthro anime pony thing pic next.  Oh and am considering making that last panel into a print cause it seems like that one is too cute not to give it a shot.
